We have a wide range of natural resources at Red Brick Day Nursery Kingsthorpe Northampton, ensuring that your child learns through focused and spontaneous activities.
A home from home routine is followed for all the younger children to help ease the transition between home and nursery. We offer settling in sessions suited to your child’s needs prior to starting nursery, again to ease the transition.
We have a large outside space and part of this is used as the growing area and the children are encouraged to grow their own food.
Outside includes a natural area for digging and making mud pies in our mud kitchen, as well as fun sailing our pirate ship.
We have a dedicated garden for babies and toddlers. We have a large construction area as well as sand pits both inside and out.
Inside the nursery is a large play room and off of that there is a messy room, baby room, toddler room, pre-school room and undercover garden which then leads out to the other gardens.
The babies have age appropriate equipment and toys to play with as well as lots of songs, stories and cuddles on offer. With young babies they have their bottles and solids when they are due and these are prepared on the premises.
The older children free flow and choose from a range of activities that are on offer. There is a snack station where fresh fruit or vegetable sacks are on offer. The children have a cooked lunch and pudding and these are home cooked on the premises.
